Here's The Riot is the pseudonym of singer/ guitarist/ song writer Paris Tompkins. Originally from Houston Paris moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to pursue his love of music. He joined the band Slamhound with singer Josh Todd of Buck Cherry playing guitar and singing back up. Paris was the front man of alternative band "Church of Mars" and later made gothic / dark wave music under the name Paris Grim. His musical inspirations are Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Guns N Roses. Forming Here's The Riot has allowed Paris to go back to his rock n roll roots writing about love, freedom, hope, anger, alienation, heartbreak and being human. Paris was asked by his childhood friend comedian Tig Notaro to write the music for her HBO special "Boyish Girl Interrupted" and has the hit song "Love Makes Me Crazy" featured on Tig's tv show One Mississippi. With the new EP "Tonight We"re Alive" out and the third video off of the EP "Place for us" Here's The Riot is getting more and more of a following.
